1. Who we are

AvailAV is provided by Sonak Media Ltd ("Sonak Media", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, 5 Brayford Square, London, E1 0SG, United Kingdom.

2. What AvailAV is

AvailAV is an availability planner for freelance AV (audio-visual) contractors and crew. It helps you track your availability, log booking requests, and manage your own client records and skill/certification data. It's a tool for your own personal use as a freelancer — it isn't a marketplace, an employment agency, or a party to any booking or contract between you and the companies or agencies you work with.

3. Your account

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must be old enough to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction to use AvailAV.
• Tell us as soon as possible if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Your content and data

You own the availability data, client records, notes, and other content you enter into AvailAV ("your content"). You give us a licence to store, process, and display your content back to you solely to operate the app. We don't claim ownership of your content, and we don't sell it — see our Privacy Policy for the full detail on how it's handled.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the content you enter, including the availability information you rely on to answer booking requests. AvailAV is a tool to help you track and communicate your availability — it doesn't independently verify it, and we're not responsible for double-bookings or missed work arising from information you entered or failed to update.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use AvailAV for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or to misrepresent your availability, identity, or qualifications to a third party.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorisation.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to reverse-engineer the app or its infrastructure beyond what's permitted by law.
• Use automated means to scrape or extract data from AvailAV outside of your own account.

6. Subscriptions and billing

AvailAV currently offers a free tier covering its core features. We plan to introduce optional paid tiers with additional features in future, for both individual contractors and, later, company/agency accounts. If and when paid tiers launch, pricing, billing terms, and cancellation will be set out clearly before you're charged, and payment will be processed by a third-party payment provider under its own terms.

7. Intellectual property

AvailAV's software, design, branding, and trademarks are owned by Sonak Media Ltd or its licensors. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use our branding except as needed to use the app as intended.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep AvailAV available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to suspend or modify the service for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. Where reasonably possible, we'll give notice of planned downtime that could affect you materially.

9. Disclaimers

AvailAV is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we don't make warranties that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose beyond what's described here. AvailAV doesn't guarantee bookings, income, or outcomes with any company or agency — it's a tool to help you manage and communicate your own availability.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Sonak Media Ltd's liability to you arising out of or in connection with AvailAV is limited to direct losses that were reasonably foreseeable, and we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profit or loss of a specific booking) arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law, including liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

11. Termination

You can stop using AvailAV and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms, or if we're required to by law. Where reasonably possible, we'll give you notice and a chance to put things right first.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
